The Journal of Endowment and Charity Studies evaluates each case of plagiarism based on its own criteria. If plagiarism is identified by the editors, reviewers, or editorial board at any stage of publication—whether before or after acceptance, during editing, or at the proofing stage—the author(s) will be warned and asked to revise the manuscript and cite the original sources properly. In cases of extensive plagiarism, the article may be rejected.

If substantial academic plagiarism is discovered after the article has been published, the article will be removed from the archive, the plagiarism will be publicly announced on the journal’s website, and the name(s) of the author(s) will be placed on a blacklist.

This journal adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and upholds the highest ethical standards in accordance with its ethical policies.

The Journal of Endowment and Charity Studies recognizes the concerns of authors, readers, librarians, and others regarding the need for long-term preservation and access to scientific research as the publishing world transitions to digital formats. Our policy directly and transparently addresses the issue of archiving — ensuring long-term preservation along with continued accessibility.

The Journal of Endowment and Charity Studies is committed to archiving, that is, the long-term preservation and accessibility of the scientific research information published electronically in this journal. This policy statement outlines the level of the journal’s commitment to archiving and the procedures in place to fulfill this obligation. The Journal of Endowment and Charity Studies will act as an archive for all electronically published content of the journal. The archived content will include all issues of the journal with online access capabilities and any associated supplementary materials.

The core content of the information will never be altered. However, in the case of errors or the need for content corrections, updates to citations, or other post-publication modifications, annotations or supplementary additions may be made without altering the original content.
